  • Pet photos: When you upload photos of your pet at checkout, we collect and store those images. They are used solely to create your custom product and are retained only as long as needed to produce and support your order.
  • Account information: If you create an account, we store your login credentials (securely hashed), saved addresses, and order history.
  • Communications: When you contact us via our contact form or email, we keep the content of your message and your contact details to respond and provide support.
  • Reviews: If you leave a review, we collect the data shown in the review form, along with your IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.

  • Usage data: We may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and referring URLs, to help us understand how the Site is used and to keep it secure.

  • Production and fulfillment partners: Your pet photos and customization details are shared with the artisans and production partners who handcraft your order.
  • Shipping carriers: Your name and delivery address are shared with carriers to deliver your order.
  • Service providers: We may use trusted providers for email delivery, website hosting, and IT support, who process data only on our behalf.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information where required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Order records are kept as long as required for tax, accounting, warranty, and customer service purposes (typically several years);
  • Pet photos are retained while your order is in production and for a reasonable period afterwards to support reorders and warranty service. You may request deletion of your photos at any time;
  • Account information is kept while your account is active, and deleted or anonymised when you close it, subject to legal retention requirements;
  • Contact form messages are kept for customer support purposes.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location (including under the GDPR in the EU/UK and the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the following rights:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • Deletion: Request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal and contractual retention obligations;
  • Restriction / Objection: Ask us to restrict or stop processing your data in certain circumstances;
  • Data portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format;
  • Do Not Sell: Opt out of any sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information); and
  • Withdraw consent: Withdraw any consent you have given at any time.
